Safety first

We keep our employee’s safety a priority, bottomline.

Employees first

The most valuable resource at U.S. SiteWork is its employees. Preventing accidents is a primary consideration in all phases of our operations and administration. It is our intention as a company to provide a safe and healthy workplace.

Protecting our own

All employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including the following: reporting hazards, unsafe work practices and accidents immediately to their supervisors; wearing required personal protective equipment; and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.

Management led

Management is accountable for preventing workplace incidents, injuries and illnesses. Management will provide top-level support of safety program initiatives. Management will consider all employee suggestions for achieving a safer, healthier workplace. Management also will keep informed about workplace safety and health hazards, and it will regularly review the company safety and health program.

Supervisor responsibility

Supervisors are responsible for supervising and training workers in safe work practices. Supervisors must enforce company safety rules and work to eliminate hazardous conditions. Supervisors shall lead safety efforts by example.

Planning our safety

While we need to make money on our projects to stay in business the primary mission of this company is performing work safely. We believe that a well-planned and safely thought-out work activity will bring better quality and more production to our job performance. When we work hard at preplanning projects for safety first, the other important aspects of our construction will follow closely behind like environmental stewardship, quality, and finally productive work.

Keeping relationships

Our clients don’t have to take the low bidder on their projects, and we understand that the safe work we deliver to them is ultimately the most important part of our relationship with them. Just ask our Safety Director, Project Manager and CEO at U.S. SiteWork, Bart Anderson.
